FOOTNOTES:
- AR = H2 Hummer has factory air bag rear suspension.
- B = Can’t use Bilstein factory shocks, the shocks are too long and the coils will fall out. Our shocks part #420500 must be used with a light duty coil (without the shock extenders) or a heavy duty factory shock must be used with our shock extenders part #2003SE.
- BJ = Our part uses your original style ball joints.
- BL = S10 kit works on the S10 blazer too.
- BS = Kit includes new bump stops for the rear.
- C = Spindles include ball joint spacers without any flipping so that 16” or larger rims can be used. You can only use these spindles on coil spring front end, 2WD, 1/2 ton Chevy or GMC trucks.
- C2 = If your Ford has a two piece drive-line, you may need a carrier bearing relocator.
- CB = If your truck has a two piece drive-line, you may need a carrier bearing relocator.
- CR = H2 Hummer has a factory coil spring rear suspension.
- CS = Our A-frames use your original cross shafts.
- DB = Must convert from original drum brakes to disc brakes.
- E = May need to re-route exaust for more clearance.
- EX = Must use shock extenders with this kit.
- FL = Our lowering kits will not work with factory lowered Colorado or Canyon trucks.
- HD = Must use heavy duty disc brakes (1 1/4” thick rotors)
- HS = Our coils are meant to be used with the factory heavy duty (3” diameter) or auto leveling air shocks.
- LD = Must use light duty disc brakes (1” thick rotors).
- LS = Our coils are meant to be used with the factory light duty (2” diameter) shock or our shock #420500.
- OL = You must remove the factory over load leaf to do this drop.
- S = Must use shorter rear shocks.
- SC = You use your original inner and outer tubes of your stock column. We supply the directions with diagrams, ragjoint, and brackets for the inner and outer tubes. You can not use a “3 on the tree” original column.
- SE = Our part #99SE is recommended. They are not required but they sure do make a big dif ference in the ride quality. The shock extenders relocate the shock angle to put it back to its original angle.
- SR = Deluxe kit will not work on the Dodge SRT models. The economy kit is recommended for the SR T.
- SW = Disc Brakes will not work with original 1957-64 14” wheels.
- T = Must use 17” or larger wheels in order to use the spindles. Factory 17” wheels will work with a slight modification, aftermarket cast 17” wheels likely won’t work.
- TR = Our part uses the original style tie-rods.
- WH = The kit/hanger will not work on trucks with a 5’ bed (which has a welded front leaf spring hanger) or the 8’ bed (long bed). Must use a kit with a leaf spring instead of a hanger.
- V8 = The coil springs were engineered for a truck with a V-8 engine. If coils are installed on a 6 cylinder truck then the full drop will not be achieved and the rear will sit lower
than the front. - XL = Our kit will not work on the “XL” version.
