The Dropmember Rear is a modular suspension system designed to replace the factory components and improve ride quality, performance, aesthetics, and strength. It is available in either a trailing arm or four-bar variation and can be purchased with a weld in or bolt-in step notch. Ride height measures approx. 5” when running a 30” tall tire, and the frame will rest on the ground when deflated (measurements are taken from bottom of the frame rail under the cab to the ground). This system is designed to be paired with our Dropmember Front.
Options
Porterbuilt Rear Frame Crossmember
Porterbuilt rear frame crossmembers are built using polished 1.5" OD heavy wall tubing and CNC cut, precision formed, and machine polished 3/16 plate. Includes the necessary grade 8 hardware for installation.
Airbags
Firestone F9000 Air Spring Kit - This standard Firestone air spring offers maximum load support and operates at up to 100 psi. The spring has a 1/4" inflation port, a ride height of 8.25" and a maximum diameter of 5.70".
Shock Kits
KYB Excel-G gas shocks and struts rely on velocity-sensitive valving to respond to changing road conditions for a smooth, comfortable ride. They feature sintered-iron pistons and guide rods for strength, hard-chrome piston rods for added durability, and seamless cylinders and eyerings that eliminate the typical weak points. Excel-G shocks and struts also have a patented check valve to minimize foaming and aeration and maintain control under tough conditions.
